Fourthwaycircles' support for arts and culture is particularly important. He collaborates and practically supports the Roda Theater group that keeps alive the tradition of the Theater of the Sanctuary, as well as the concerts with Gurdjieff music given by the same group. We also actively support the lectures and events related to Gurdjieff's work organized by Dimitris Peretzis in Athens and the Nea Privatiki Odos in Thessaloniki.

The Tempest
The “Tempest” is Shakespeare’s last play. Prospero’s announcement that he is going to abandon his “high art”, magic, is in fact the playwright’s own announcement – intention to leave the theatre stage for good. Shakespeare’s explicit farewell to theatre indicates, undoubtedly, the autobiographical character of the play, which constitutes a sort of allegory of life and the poet’s experience in it. Let us not forget, Prospero is Shakespeare himself: it is historically confirmed that the play was written so that he would act this role. Therefore, the Tempest is considered to be Shakespeare’s...
Alcibiades, Saint
Through an ongoing presence since 1991, aiming to create the tradition of the Sacred Theatre under the guidance of Maria Peretzi, RODA has placed Alcibiades at the centre of its timeless performance “Alcibiades, Saint”, studying through this misunderstood figure both the fatal errors of Athenian expansionism and the direct connection of Socratic thought with the ancient Mysteries. With the vivid representation of three ancient Mysteries, the Eleusinian, Pan and Cabeiri on stage, Pythagorean and Platonic teaching is reconnected to its roots in the mystical rites of antiquity. All the great tragedians, Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, composed plays under his name. Unfortunately, none of...

By Maria Peretzi The great Mesopotamian epic Gilgamesh was the king of Uruk, a Mesopotamian city whose ruins have been found in contemporary Iraq. Allegedly, he was Noe’s grandson. The epic, which describes his adventures, is the oldest poem in history. A lot of stories are interwoven in the narrative, a lot of which re emerge later in the mythologies of peoples such as the Greeks and Jews. “Gilgamesh” had survived in the oral tradition of Caucasian...
