Description

Dr. Ravi Ravindra was born and raised in India. In 1961 he moved to Canada, where he studied Physics and Philosophy. He is Dean of Philosophy at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. He has published papers and books on Physics, Philosophy and Religious Studies. His book "The Gospel of John in the light of Indian mysticism" explores the Gospel of John, which in its general view of the divine passion differs from the other Gospels, from a perspective of other spiritual traditions and to a scale that is at once broadly cosmological and deeply mystical. It focuses on a search for the spiritual core of the Gospel and demonstrates the need of the seeker to discern the inner call. This work is addressed to all those who are concerned with the emergence of universal spirituality and acknowledge that the Truth is there to be revealed.
